'Ram and Sita' show - a newly commissioned and never seen before show will mark the finale of  Dashehra Diwali Mela. Created by Walk the Plank and presented by the Indian Association Manchester, 'Ram and Sita' is a celebratory and captivating show that takes its inspiration from one of the great ancient epics of India called Ramayan (meaning the Journey of Ram). Ramayan depicts the story of an ideal son, brother, husband and king. Actors and dancers use Indian dance, gesture and mime, combined with a fiery mix of special effects and shadow puppetry, to lead us through the narrative. A beautiful finale firework display will provide an explosive end to the evening.
